 Mr. Dogan Baysal obtained a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Robert's College in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1977 and an MS degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1978. Mr. Baysal is the President and CEO of Seba International LTD, an international steel trading company. He served as the Managing Director at the TAAB Board for 2006-2007 activity year and currently is the Honorary Chairperson representing TAAB all over the world. Mr Baysal has a chair at Mayor of Houston's International Affairs & Development Council (MIADC), representing 'Middle East/North Africa' Regional Council.
Okan Akin (Managing Director)

 Mr. Okan Akin obtained a BS degree in Finance from the University of Houston in 1995 and an MBA degree also from the University of Houston in 1996. Mr. Akin has over 12 years of experience in commercial lending and credit administration. Mr. Akin is the President at Independence Bank, a community bank with commercial lending focus. Mr. Akin is a co-founder of TAAB and served as its Managing Director for the 2007-2008 activity year. Mr. Akin is on the Board of the RMA (Risk Management Association) Gulf Coast Chapter and he also serves as a Board Member at Independence Bank. Mr. Akin serves as the managing director of the Turkish American Association for Business.

 Ms.Kassenyeva, native Azerbaijani, graduated from Baku State University with the Diploma in Computer Science and Cybernetics in 1995. She also holds a MS in Finance from Texas A&M University . Prior to attending Texas A&M, Ms.Kassenyeva worked as a Financial Manager for UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) Azerbaijan and Project Secretary for UNICEF/Azerbaijan. Ms.Kassenyeva joined Paul Comstock Partners in 1999 and her responsibilities as a Vice President of Research include investment manager searches, performance monitoring, asset allocation and investment analysis for individual and non-profit (501c3) institutional clients. Ms.Kassenyeva is a member of Houston Society of Financial Analysts and actively involved with the organization. She is CFA charterholder since 2002. Ms.Kassenyeva is also a member of CFP (Society of Fundraising Professionals) Houston. Ms.Kassenyeva created or helped in the creation of the following non-profit organizations: Tango Houston, URAA-Houston and Houston Azerbaijanis. Ms.Kassenyeva served as a member of ATA ExCom for 4 years. Ms.Kassenyeva is also actively involved with Houston Azerbaijanis Folk Dance Group.

 Mr. Salar received his MBA from University of Houston in 2005 and his BBA from Tennessee Technological / Marmara University in 2003. Mr. Salar is a former tennis pro who competed at the national, international, and collegiate levels before he started his Banking & Finance career in Houston. He holds six National Championship titles in doubles in Turkey (1993-1997), one National Team Championship title at ENKA Tennis Team (1998), one Ohio Valley Conference Championship title at Tennessee Tech University (1999), and third place finish at European Club Championship (1999). Mr. Salar has been working for Sterling Bank since January 2006. He held positions as an Analyst in the Central Credit Group and an Associate in the International Banking Group. Currently, he is working as a Loan Acquisition Officer in the Capital Markets Group, where he specializes in credit underwriting, secondary markets, and securitizations. Mr. Salar serves as the co-director of the Turkish American Association for Business.

Mr. Baysal is a co-founder of TAAB and served as its managing director for the 2002-2003 activity year.
